The Mental Health & Wellness Committee is dedicated to advancing the well-being of legal professionals by promoting awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting initiatives that foster a healthier, more sustainable legal community. Through its work, the Committee addresses the unique pressures of the profession while reinforcing the connection between well-being, professionalism, and public trust.
A central initiative of the Committee is Bar Circles, a member-driven program that brings small groups together in a supportive, informal setting to connect, share experiences, and navigate common challenges. These groups are designed to create a sense of belonging and encourage open, honest conversations around mental health and life experiences.
The Committee also curates and shares a range of mental health and wellness resources, helping members access tools, education, and support across areas such as stress management, mindfulness, and overall well-being. Through these efforts, the Committee plays an important role in building a more connected, resilient, and supported legal community.
