The Justice For All Committee (JFA) serves as an advisory and oversight body for the CMBA’s pro bono legal services, public law-related education, and community outreach initiatives. Acting as an umbrella group, the Committee helps guide programs that expand access to justice and strengthen connections between the legal community and those it serves.
JFA supports the development, evaluation, and growth of initiatives designed to address unmet legal needs in the community. The Committee works closely with partner organizations, including The Legal Aid Society of Cleveland and the courts, to better understand gaps in services and identify opportunities for meaningful impact. It also collaborates with CMBA Sections to support pro bono efforts and encourage broader volunteer engagement.
In addition to its programmatic role, JFA recognizes outstanding service through the annual Justice For All Volunteer of the Year Award, highlighting individuals who have made significant contributions through pro bono and public service work. Through its leadership and coordination, the Committee plays a central role in advancing access to justice across Northeast Ohio.
