The Insurance Law Section brings together attorneys who represent clients in insurance coverage matters, including both plaintiff and defense counsel. The Section provides a forum for practitioners to stay current on developments in insurance law while engaging with peers across perspectives within the field.
Through regular meetings, case law updates, and CLE programming, the Section delivers timely and practical insight into evolving legal issues and trends impacting insurance coverage and litigation. Its two full-day CLE programs, held annually in the spring and fall, offer in-depth education and the opportunity to earn advanced specialization credit in insurance law.
In addition to its educational offerings, the Section contributes to the CMBA Bar Journal and supports ongoing dialogue within the insurance law community. Through these efforts, the Section fosters professional development and helps members navigate the complexities of insurance-related practice.
