The Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Section brings together attorneys, mediators, and arbitrators who are engaged in or interested in dispute resolution across a range of practice areas. The Section supports both neutrals and advocates by promoting the effective use of alternative dispute resolution and helping members strengthen their skills in this evolving area of law.
Through regular programming and discussions, the Section provides opportunities for members to stay current on trends, share practical insights, and build connections with others who are focused on resolving disputes efficiently and effectively. Monthly roundtable meetings, often paired with CLE opportunities, create space for ongoing learning and professional exchange.
The Section also contributes to the broader legal community through educational programming and thought leadership, including CLE offerings and participation in the CMBA Bar Journal. Through these efforts, the ADR Section fosters professional development while advancing the role of dispute resolution in the legal system.
